  • Traveling Transloader Operator - Weatherford, OK

    POSITION PURPOSE /OBJECTIVE:

    Loads, unloads and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing efficiently and proactively with employees and customers. Laborer duties consist of helping at the mine site with QC, little maintenance, and good housekeeping practices. Heavy Equipment operator’s duties are to keep sand flowing to the plant, and loading trucks. Upholds safety standards and conserves company resources while maintaining the day-to-day administration of the work site. Contributes to a positive team spirit and has creative problem solving skills in an ever-changing environment.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND BASIC JOB DUTIES:

    • Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved and unloaded
    • Moves material from railcars to trucks and/or from trucks to railcars
    • Loads and unloads materials by hand and with the use of conveyors
    • Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area
    • Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled using inventory software, or by hand if necessary
    • Attaches identifying tags or labels to containers
    • Load trucks for Industrial Truck Operators
    • Creates a Bill of Lading for each load either using computer software or handwritten when necessary
    • Maintains proper maintenance of yard equipment, such as conveyors and truck scales

    Travel Requirements:

    Due to the cyclic and fluctuating industry, this position requires travel to other sites for several days and potentially extended periods of time (several weeks) with little to no notice. The company covers lodging. Mileage and per diem are paid directly to the employee in addition to their regular hourly wage and are included in every payroll cycle. Additionally, a valid driver’s license, proof of motor vehicle insurance and a reliable method of transportation are required.

  • Maintenance Lead - Odessa, TX

    POSITION PURPOSE /OBJECTIVE:

    Setup, organize and manage time efficiently to perform/complete Project Maintenance, repairs, and predictive maintenance for entire facility.  Responsible for the proper use, timely completion, and proper filing and organization of all maintenance/service/parts inventory forms.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND BASIC JOB DUTIES:

     

    • General facility maintenance – outside buildings, office, domes, terminal yard
    • Responsible for proper care, use and organization of all tools and equipment
    • Manages tool inventory and keeps tools clean and organized
    • Manage purchasing and supply orders as needed
    • Maintains truck maintenance vehicle
    • On call to perform emergency breakdowns repairs or evaluate needs.
    • Determines material, equipment, and supplies to be used
    • Coordinates or installs, inspects, repairs, and maintains the electrical, mechanical and other related systems
    • Manages daily general repairs to site equipment
    • Follows health, safety, and environmental programs directed by the Safety Manager

  • Terminal Lead - Odessa, TX

    POSITION PURPOSE /OBJECTIVE:

    A Terminal Lead assists with the supervision and workload of the terminal.  Leads by example, in a variety of duties as needed, from transloading, mechanical maintenance, scale operations, terminal operations and supervision of staff.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:

    • Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved and unloaded
    • Moves material from railcars to trucks and/or from trucks to railcars
    • Loads and unloads materials by hand and with the use of conveyors
    • Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area
    • Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled using inventory software, or by hand if necessary
    • Attaches identifying tags or labels to containers
    • Loads trucks for Industrial Truck Operators
    • Creates a Bill of Lading for each load either using computer software or handwritten when necessary
    • Maintains copies of all paperwork generated in a filing system on site
    • Immediately forwards all paperwork requested by home office
    • Maintains proper maintenance of yard equipment, such as conveyors and truck scales
    • Lifts heavy objects by hand
    • Makes adjustments or repairs to equipment and realigns belts or replacing rollers
    • Maintains a clean and safe work site and strictly follows the Wildcat Safety Manual
    • Stays up-to-date on changes to the Wildcat Employee Handbook
    • Other duties as assigned

     

    In addition to the responsibilities above, leads are expected to do the following:

    • Assists in hiring, training and supervision of hourly staff, which includes scheduling and discipline
    • Limit the amount of overtime worked by hourly employees whenever possible
    • Forward all personnel files to home office when requested
    • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and high work standards
    • Reports to Terminal Manager on a daily basis
    • Provide regularly scheduled safety meetings
    • Account for all Wildcat property on site
    • Account for all safety equipment on site
    • Account for all spare parts for machinery on site
    • Inspect all railroad cars for safety and operational access
    • Oversee and assist in immediate cleanup of any spills in the transloading area
    • Maintain written log of all truck shipments received and rail car shipments completed
    • Plan truck loading schedules and oversee spotting and ordering of railcars from the railroad.
    • Verify inventory on a weekly schedule, or daily if necessary
    • Open communication with direct supervisor regarding opportunities for improvement

  • Transloader Operator - Pecos, TX

    POSITION PURPOSE /OBJECTIVE:

    Loads, unloads and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing efficiently and proactively with employees and customers. Laborer duties consist of helping at the mine site with QC, little maintenance, and good housekeeping practices. Heavy Equipment operator’s duties are to keep sand flowing to the plant, and loading trucks. Upholds safety standards and conserves company resources while maintaining the day-to-day administration of the work site. Contributes to a positive team spirit and has creative problem solving skills in an ever-changing environment.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND BASIC JOB DUTIES:

    • Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved and unloaded
    • Moves material from railcars to trucks and/or from trucks to railcars
    • Loads and unloads materials by hand and with the use of conveyors
    • Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area
    • Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled using inventory software, or by hand if necessary
    • Attaches identifying tags or labels to containers
    • Load trucks for Industrial Truck Operators
    • Creates a Bill of Lading for each load either using computer software or handwritten when necessary
    • Maintains proper maintenance of yard equipment, such as conveyors and truck scales
    • Lifts heavy objects by hand
    • Makes simple adjustments or repairs such as realigning belts or replacing rollers
    • Maintains a clean and safe work site and strictly follows the Company Safety Manual
